Heh. It’s pathetic how long it’s been since my last update. Which was on my birthday. Sad.

Holidays have finally started, and ironically, I’ll probably be busier now than I was during the semester. At least I’ll be busy with my personal projects instead of school stuff, for the most part, but I’ve figured out a way to kinda blend the school project into my own in any case.

First up the personal project leading up to the school project. I’ll be doing an A4 sized painting, and then, for the school project, I’ll be creating an IFX workshop around that. The project itself is focused on the layout and cover of the magazine (I’ll be using the painting for the cover image too), but the article has to be… well, an actual article, either one that I nick somewhere or one that I write myself. Can’t just be placeholder text. But more on that later. Here’s the thumbnail rough of the image I want to paint.

I’ve decided to recycle my Victor project from the beginning of this year (or was it at the end of last?) for this image.
